For anyone not familiar with VistaPrint , they are one of the most well established and respected sources for a variety of printed products – they’re most famous for their offer for 250 free business cards (with a small and really decent shipping charge)… and this week has several good free offers at VistaPrint Canada. They have the usual free business card offer, but also a free self-inking stamp and business card magnet offer.
Why do they do this ? Because they know (and I know from having bought from them) that you will go back for their products… they also have an excellent web site to interactively design your business cards, greeting cards, magnets, etc etc….

Well, the site with the 300 questions to establish your “perfect” match in harmony is having a free communications weekend. Basically you get to use all their features (contacting other members, etc)… but you need to register at eHarmony in advance.
Interesting site, but man that was one serious set of questions… (and no, I never met anyone thanks to eHarmony … although I didn’t try that hard ;))

09 May 08 The shortest pencil in the world? The things one can find in a seven year old’s pockets …
Well, Ashrita Furman may indeed be the Guinness Record holder for the world’s longest (and largest) pencil at 76 feet and 21,000 pounds…. but I think I found perhaps the shortest and smallest one!
Well, I suppose it’s a result of an indoctrination of not wasting resources…. (and an artistic bent too)…
Pencil found in pocket of a seven year old boy (ok, almost 8)…
Unfortunately there were no identifying markers on the writing instrument, so I can’t tag it with more specific make and model information. I suspect it will go for mid $xx,xxx on eBay in the next few months.
