26 Nov 08 2 for 1 tickets for Tony Robbins Unleash the Power Within Event in New York (March 2009)

I came across one of the better (and lesser known) Tony Robbins event videos yesterday at the TED conference site… more on that a bit lower below.

But first off; if you’ve been planning on attending the Unleash the Power Within event in the New York area in March 2009 … now is the time to move on getting tickets! Yup, they’re having a “buy 1, get 1 free” promotion for a few days on all ticket levels from General Admission to VIP. Basically, you can now bring someone along for free when you buy one of those tickets ($995 – 1595).

The promotion doesn’t apply to the Diamond and Diamond Premiere tickets which are priced at $2095 and $2595…

If that seems pricey, keep in mind that it’s a 4 day event and runs pretty much non-stop the whole four days. You may want to check with your employer if it can be done as a training event, and if you’re self-employed it’s probably a tax-deductible conference ; check with your accountant.

I’ve followed promotions and deals for his previous shows in Orlando and in Vancouver a couple of months ago. Basically, they have a ticket sale promotion a bit before the event and then the seats start to sell out – so it’s either you jump on this 2 for 1 deal or take a chance buying them on eBay or Craigslist later… They don’t offer discounts on the Diamond level because they sell out at their regular prices…

Here’s the event seating chart:

As you can see, the VIP section is plenty close to the stage to get the full Tony experience, and the Diamond levels basically guarantee front section seating with the first three rows reserved for Diamond Premiere ticket holders…

One of the more interesting and entertaining Tony Robbins talks was at the TED conference – have a look at it below : I think it is Anthony Robbins at his finest and there’s some great interaction with Al Gore who is seated in the front row and interacts with Tony (love the “supreme court” quip)… I also learned about Tony’s early “philanthropic” or simply put “giving back” efforts bringing Turkeys to needy families… one family more per year.

Worth spending 20 minutes to watch this:
