If you, like myself, missed out on the Kanye West pre-sale opportunities for his Canadian concert tour, then you may be interested in joining the ScotiaBank Scene program. It’s a free loyalty program to drive viewers to their Scotia Cinemas. I signed up initially because my favorite theatre in Montreal is the Paramount… ok, the former Paramount. Awesome screens, seats, real Lactantia butter on popcorn … just overall a cool cinema. Sure, it’s not the venerable Imperial Theatre over on Bleury Street, but alas….

From April 14, 2008 – May 16, 2008 SCENE members will have a chance to enter a draw to win front row tickets to the hottest show of the summer. All you have have to do is redeem 100 SCENE points to be automatically entered into the draw to win. The lucky SCENE winner will be eligible for:

• A meet & greet with Rihanna herself!
• Two front row tickets to the Glow in the Dark Concert on June 2, 2008 at GM Place in Vancouver, British Columbia. Featuring headliner Kanye West, and special guests Rihanna, N.E.R.D and Lupe Fiasco.
• Roundtrip Economy Air Travel for you and a friend
• 2 nights hotel accommodation
