It’s Halloween… boo!
But this is also one of those weekends that so many eHarmony members wait for; or rather, eHarmony members who aren’t paying yet and therefore cannot communicate with other members…
So what’s important this weekend besides Halloween and the time change (one hour back!) … well look at the following picture:
Yup, it’s another eHarmony Free Communication Weekend… remember, it’s only until Sunday night …. November 2nd !

28 Aug 08 Another eHarmony free communications weekend – both eHarmony USA and eHarmony Canada from August 29th to September 1st…
Well, eHarmony is having another FCW “free communications weekend” starting on Friday, August 29th and running through the weekend until September 1st. Basically what this means is that you can send personalized messages to other eHarmony members. I strongly suggest you register at eHarmony and complete the eHarmony profile questionnaire on either eHarmony USA or eHarmony Canada *in advance of the free weekend* because it does take some time to do, and there are parts of the profile that may require approval by eHarmony moderators or staff.
If you’ve read my previous reviews of eHarmony, you’ll know that they have one of the most complete (300+ questions!) profiling systems in the dating world… also, the FCW doesn’t allow you to see photos of other members… so get in touch with the prospective member and ask them to send you a pic or two by email.

27 Jun 08 Another eHarmony Canada Free Communications Weekend – a long eHarmony FCW this time right through Canada Day!

Well, those of you who have read my previous eHarmony dating site review articles and the user comments may be interested in the latest eHarmony Canada Free Communications Weekend.
This time around the fun starts at 00:01am PST (Pacific Standard Time) on Saturday, June 28th and lasts right through Canada Day until 23:59 PST on July 1st. If our friends in Toronto and Montreal aren’t time-zone savvy, that means the FCW weekend starts at 21:01pm EDT on Friday the 27th of June and finishes at 20:59 EST on Canada Day.
As always the eHarmony FCW event means that you can contact any other eHarmony member for free during this entire weekend and write to them personally (eHarmony refers to this as the Fast Track communication option… which I highly recommend. The other communications option is the so-called “guided” communication method which uses pre-canned questions and answers to send back and forth between you and the person you’re interested in.
The other important thing to note is that even during the FCW weekend, you will not be able to see other eHarmony member photos – even if they are a paid member. I find this majorly annoying. Let’s face it, it’s not so much about being superficial as it is about being realistic. All of us judge others based on both a visual first impression combined with the person behind the appearance. More importantly, members who do not post photos often are viewed as having something to hide (as in .. an existing relationship?)…
Regardless, I won’t be using it; 1) I don’t need to hehehe 2) I’m enjoying my vacation with the boys and family.
If you haven’t given eHarmony Canada a try, this weekend is certainly a great time to do it – they have these FCW weekends once every 3 months.

Well, the site with the 300 questions to establish your “perfect” match in harmony is having a free communications weekend. Basically you get to use all their features (contacting other members, etc)… but you need to register at eHarmony in advance.
Interesting site, but man that was one serious set of questions… (and no, I never met anyone thanks to eHarmony … although I didn’t try that hard ;))

17 Nov 07 eHarmony.com has free communication weekend - write to all members free without paying
Well, I had tried eHarmony a few months ago, and besides finding the 300+ questions they ask you a bit too long… I was more frustrated that they let you do so very little without paying for a full membership.
I just found out that they’re having a free communication weekend - so even if you sign up as a free member without a credit card, you’ll be able to write to all other members … but not see their photos.
The other cool thing about the fine print says that it’s free until Monday 23h59 pacific time… which means we have until 2h59 in the morning on Tuesday to eHarmonize 
En passant, eHarmony n’est pas disponible en français, par contre il y a pas mal de monde de Québec.
